What is reformer pilates?

Pilates on a machine! The reformer allows for an almost unlimited range of exercises. Which helps to develop all over body strength & definition.

Which reformer class should I book Flex or Dynamic?

  • Flex – (beginner / intermediate) is by far the best remedy if you want learn how to activate your deep inner core muscles, improve power, strength and flexibility.
  • Dynamic (Advanced) – This requires a good level of strength and core understanding. You will work every muscle group under time and tension. We challenge your body to perform at its best. Expect a range of full body movements from pulsing, to holding and breathing through a little pain!

Who is reformer Pilates for?

Everyone!!!!! – Pilates is the ideal form of exercise to support and strengthen your performance for any training. Why? Because it engages and trains your deep core muscles which are fundamental to all exercise. Men and woman of all ages will benefit from pilates exercises because they ensure our muscles and joints move in the ways they are designed to.

What should I expect from my first class?

A great vibe, awesome tunes and loads of fun!!! Classes are free-flowing and designed to work you hard. Expect to leave with an all-over body burn along with stronger, lengthened and leaner muscles

How Many people are in a class?

  • Reformer Pilates – Maximum of 8
  • Fitness Session
    • Boxing – 4
    • Yoga – 6
    • Barre – 6
    • Strength Training – 4

What do I need to wear?

Exercise clothes that you are comfortable in and doesn’t restrict your movement.

I haven’t used a Reformer machine before can I attend a class?

If you are new to Reformer we recommend that you book a 121 introductory session initially.

Can I attend if I am pregnant?

Yes, You should always check with your doctor before doing any kind of exercise during pregnancy but instead of attending our group classes you will need to attend a 1 on 1 introductory session initially as there will be some exercises that will need to be modified.

How do I book a class?

Once you have registered online and created an account you can book a class via our web site “Book a class tab” or by downloading the Mindbody App and choosing Refresh Pilates as your location.

How far in advance can I book a class?

You can book classed up to 14 days in advance.

What is the class waitlist?

If the class is at full capacity you will be offered to join the waitlist, when someone cancels you will be notified via txt/email letting you know you got in.

If you don’t reply we assume you’re coming.

Will I be charged for cancelling a class?

There is no charge for cancelling a class as long as it is cancelled within 24hrs prior to the class start time. Cancelling a class outside of this window will be recorded as a late cancelation and may be charged.

Is there a late arrival policy?

If you are more than 10 minutes late for the class you will not be able to join it. This is out of consideration for the other clients and the trainer, and for your safety.

Do you give refunds?

No, we have a strict no refund policy
